Birthplace of The Villages
Lady Lake grew as a railroad town in the 1880s, incorporated in 1925, and is known as the birthplace of The Villages. In February 2007 it was hit by an EF3 tornado during the Groundhog Day outbreak (Wikipedia).
Census estimates describe a town unlike most of metro Orlando: a median age of 66.9, 63.8% of homes built between 1980 and 1999, and 31.2% of homes classified as manufactured homes (Census Reporter).
Dryer vents, and why they come first
Dryer fires are mostly a lint problem: NFPA estimates that failure to clean was a factor in 32% of U.S. home structure fires involving dryers in 2014–2018 (NFPA). Manufactured homes: the duct must go outside
Under the federal HUD code, a manufactured home’s dryer exhaust must go to the outside, must not end beneath the home and must not be joined with screws that reach into the duct (24 CFR 3280.708).
